The best case scenario would be one in which your students, at least some of them, volunteered to do service work at such a facility.

I do not find your criticism of student behavior, e.g., put downs, to be credible. From my observations, and cumulative life experience, I regard such things as a temporary state of being.

A disconnect occurs when the student behaviors you noted are carried over into adult life and actually undergo refinement from continued use. The put downs become more subtle and biting, the violence morphs from physical to psychological, etc.

For the teachers there is no excuse. Lacking some semblance of real compassion a teacher is not a teacher; they are a subject matter specific resource and nothing more. There is a considerable difference.Priesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06131150753517879294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10132773.post-46944579503662943342008-12-22T12:37:00.000-08:002008-12-22T12:37:00.000-08:00Hello, I found your blog while searching the web f...Hello,

I found your blog while searching the web for information related to my blog.

I think your site content is very good and I think we would both benefit from a link exchange. This would bring more targeted traffic to our sites, plus increase our websites' weight at the search engines, as they give greater value to the links from the topic-related sites rather than irrelevant backlinks.

My blog at http://eschoolsearch.blogspot.com/ is definitely related to yours.

I would be glad to link to your site in return to you linking back to mine.

Please email me at info@eschoolsearch.com to discuss further details on this.

Thank You

Theresa FoxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10132773.post-75190167224830294472008-12-22T11:34:00.000-08:002008-12-22T11:34:00.000-08:00I like your post here and the linked article. But it won't stop me from being nice, and I'm glad it's not stopping you either. Thanks for posting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
