The Czar or Tsar?
Man, it is getting more difficult every day to defend my vote for President Obama. Another Czar, in this case an education czar, has fallen prey to the attack on previously held beliefs/statements.
I teach because I have to. In all the jobs I've had to pay my way through life, only teaching has (as of today) not left an empty feeling. This is my calling; and sometimes I feel that I chose to teach as much as teaching chose me. *Note: The thoughts expressed here are my own and not intended to represent the school or district I work for.

I am certain you are not alone in buyer's remorse.
Yeah, I was a little disturbed when I read that yesterday.
Interesting article. I would like to know more about how one "promotes homosexuality." It's not like it's a club you join.
What next, are they going to start "promoting girlhood"? Or "promoting Latinness"?
Unfortunately for the sane Republicans, the party has cried wolf a little too much. It's hard to take their accusations seriously at this point, after hearing so much and so often about the President being a socialist fascist Muslim (I know I'm leaving some of them out... but you get the gist). Fox News and other media that have taken Glenn Beck and his ilk serious coverage have tarnished their names and it's easy to dismiss any of their claims as more "the sky is fallin!" nonsense.
Your source for this information is Fox News? Really?
